05 NIGHTS & 06 DAYS

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN LEH

Arrive at Leh Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from The Journey Guru and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for acclimatization. Spend the day relaxing at the hotel and adjust to the high-altitude environment. In the evening, take a leisurely walk around Leh Market to explore the local shops and cafes.

DAY 2: LEH CITY SIGHTSEEING

After a hearty breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Leh. Visit the Leh Palace, an ancient royal residence that offers panoramic views of the town. Explore the Shanti Stupa, which provides magnificent views of Leh and the surrounding mountains. Continue to Thiksey Monastery, a striking Tibetan Buddhist monastery located on a hill, offering fantastic photo opportunities. End the day with a visit to the Hemis Monastery, known for its annual Hemis Festival. Return to your hotel in the evening and relax.

DAY 3: LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY

After breakfast, drive from Leh to Nubra Valley via the famous Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Upon arrival, check-in at your campsite or hotel in Nubra. Visit the Diskit Monastery, home to a giant statue of Maitreya Buddha. Explore the Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy a unique camel ride on the back of double-humped Bactrian camels. Afterward, relax and enjoy the peaceful desert landscape of Nubra Valley. Overnight stay in Nubra.

DAY 4: NUBRA VALLEY TO TURTUK VILLAGE

After breakfast, drive to Turtuk Village, a beautiful hidden gem located near the Pakistan border. Turtuk is one of the last villages in India’s northernmost region and offers a unique blend of Balti culture. Visit the Turtuk Monastery and explore the village's beautiful landscapes, lush gardens, and peaceful surroundings. The village is also known for its picturesque apricot orchards, and you can interact with the locals to learn more about their culture and traditions. Spend the night in Turtuk.

DAY 5: TURTUK VILLAGE EXPLORATION

After breakfast, spend the day exploring Turtuk and its hidden gems. Visit the Turtuk Fort, an ancient structure that offers stunning views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. You can also explore the nearby Shyok River and admire the scenic beauty of the area. Turtuk is known for its pristine beauty and untouched landscapes, so take your time to soak in the tranquility. Enjoy a traditional meal with the locals in the evening before returning to your accommodation.

DAY 6: TURTUK TO LEH AND DEPARTURE

After breakfast, drive back to Leh, retracing your route via Nubra Valley. Upon arrival in Leh, depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the Leh Airport for your onward journey.
