DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN COLOMBO & TRANSFER TO WILPATTU NATIONAL PARK

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and meet our representative for a comfortable transfer to Wilpattu National Park, Sri Lanka’s largest and oldest wildlife reserve. After checking in to your safari lodge, embark on your first wildlife safari, where you may spot leopards, sloth bears, and a variety of bird species. Enjoy dinner under the stars at your jungle retreat.

DAY 2: MORNING SAFARI & TRANSFER TO ANURADHAPURA

Start your day with an early morning safari in Wilpattu to witness wildlife at its most active. After breakfast, head to Anuradhapura, an ancient city filled with UNESCO-listed ruins and sacred Buddhist sites. Explore iconic landmarks such as the Ruwanwelisaya Stupa, Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, and the Isurumuniya Temple before relaxing at your hotel.

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO MINNERIYA NATIONAL PARK – ELEPHANT SAFARI

After breakfast, journey to Minneriya National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants, especially during "The Gathering" season. Enjoy an exhilarating jeep safari, capturing sights of elephants, deer, crocodiles, and exotic birds around the Minneriya Tank. Later, check into your resort near Sigiriya and unwind.

DAY 4: SIGIRIYA ROCK & TRANSFER TO KANDY

Begin your day with a visit to the awe-inspiring Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its ancient frescoes and panoramic views. After descending, continue your journey to Kandy, Sri Lanka’s cultural capital. In the evening, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic and witness a traditional cultural dance performance.

DAY 5: TRANSFER TO YALA NATIONAL PARK – EVENING SAFARI

Depart Kandy and head south towards Yala National Park, Sri Lanka’s most famous wildlife sanctuary, known for its high density of leopards. After checking in, embark on an evening jeep safari, where you may encounter leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and a variety of birds. Enjoy a cozy night at your safari lodge.

DAY 6: MORNING SAFARI & TRANSFER TO TISSAMAHARAMA

Wake up early for another thrilling safari in Yala, maximizing your chances of spotting elusive wildlife. After breakfast, visit the nearby Tissamaharama wetlands for birdwatching and a serene boat ride. Spend your final night enjoying the tranquil ambiance of your eco-lodge.

DAY 7: DEPARTURE FROM COLOMBO

After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Colombo for your onward flight. If time permits, explore Colombo’s shopping and dining options before heading to the airport.
