DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN COLOMBO – CITY EXPLORATION

DAY 2: TRAIN JOURNEY TO KANDY & TEMPLE VISIT

Hop on the scenic train ride to Kandy, enjoying lush landscapes along the way. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a UNESCO-listed site, and stroll around Kandy Lake. Stay at a budget homestay and savor authentic Sri Lankan street food.

DAY 3: KANDY TO ELLA – SRI LANKA’S MOST SCENIC TRAIN RIDE

Board the famous Kandy to Ella train, passing through tea plantations, misty hills, and breathtaking valleys. Arrive in Ella and explore Little Adam’s Peak for a stunning sunset. Enjoy a night at an affordable backpacker’s lodge.

DAY 4: ELLA EXPLORATION – DIYALUMA FALLS & NINE ARCH BRIDGE

Start the day with a hike to Diyaluma Falls, Sri Lanka’s second-highest waterfall, where you can swim in natural pools. Later, visit the Nine Arch Bridge, a famous photography spot. Spend the evening at Ella’s lively cafes before heading back to the lodge.

DAY 5: TRANSFER TO MIRISSA – BEACH RELAXATION & SUNSET

Travel to Mirissa, one of Sri Lanka’s most affordable and stunning beach destinations. Enjoy swimming, surfing, or just relaxing by the turquoise waters. Watch the sunset from Coconut Tree Hill, a popular backpacker’s hangout. Stay at a budget beach hostel.

DAY 6: WHALE WATCHING & BEACH HOPPING

Join an affordable whale-watching tour in the morning and spot blue whales and dolphins in their natural habitat. Spend the rest of the day beach-hopping along the southern coast, visiting Secret Beach and Weligama for some laid-back vibes.

DAY 7: RETURN TO COLOMBO – DEPARTURE
