06 NIGHTS & 07 DAYS

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ALMATY – GEAR UP FOR ADVENTURE

Arrive in Almaty and check into your hotel. Meet your trekking guide for a detailed briefing, gear check, and introduction to the week’s adventure. Rest and prepare for the upcoming hikes.

DAY 2: TRANSFER TO TURGEN GORGE & EASY WARM-UP HIKE

Drive to the scenic Turgen Gorge for a light warm-up hike to Bear Waterfall. Walk through pine forests and enjoy river views. Camp overnight near the gorge in tents or a rustic lodge.

DAY 3: ASSY PLATEAU HIKE – VAST GRASSLANDS & YURT EXPERIENCE

Begin a full-day trek to the Assy Plateau, where rolling grasslands meet snowcapped peaks. Encounter grazing animals and nomadic yurt camps. Enjoy a traditional dinner and stay overnight in a local yurt.

DAY 4: TRANSFER TO CHARYN CANYON – CANYON TREK

Journey to the stunning Charyn Canyon. Hike the "Valley of Castles" trail and admire the colorful rock formations. Overnight camping or stay in a nearby guesthouse.

DAY 5: TREK TO KOLSAY LAKES – MOUNTAIN SCENERY & FRESH AIR

Drive to Saty village and start trekking toward Kolsay Lake I. Surrounded by conifer forests and mountain ridges, this is a scenic and moderate hike. Camp by the lake or stay in a guesthouse.

DAY 6: KOLSAY LAKE II HIKE – FINAL ASCENT

Take an early morning hike to Kolsay Lake II — a more demanding but rewarding trail. Enjoy lunch by the tranquil lake before descending back. Celebrate your final evening with a farewell campfire meal.

DAY 7: RETURN TO ALMATY & DEPARTURE

Return to Almaty by road. Time permitting, explore local markets or cafes before your airport drop-off.
