DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN PARO – WELCOME TO THE LAND OF THE THUNDER DRAGON

Arrive in Paro and be welcomed by your guide. After check-in, enjoy a relaxed sightseeing tour of Paro including the National Museum and Paro Rinpung Dzong.

DAY 2: FESTIVAL EXPERIENCE – MASKED DANCES & LIVING TRADITIONS

Attend the local Tsechu (festival) at the Dzong or festival ground. Witness sacred Cham dances, symbolic rituals, and locals dressed in vibrant traditional attire. Learn the meanings behind the dances and how these rituals reflect Bhutanese spiritual beliefs.

DAY 3: CULTURAL IMMERSION – TEMPLES, TEXTILES, & TRADITIONS

Visit nearby monasteries and cultural sites such as Kyichu Lhakhang (Paro) or the Folk Heritage Museum (Thimphu). Learn about the roots of Bhutanese festivals and the role of monastic institutions.

DAY 4: SCENIC HIKE & FESTIVAL REFLECTION

If in Paro, hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang), one of Bhutan’s holiest sites. If in Thimphu, explore a nature trail or visit the Buddha Dordenma.

DAY 5: DEPARTURE FROM BHUTAN

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure with vibrant memories of Bhutan’s living heritage.
