06 NIGHTS & 07 DAYS

DAY 1: ARRIVE IN PARO – TRANSFER TO TRASHIGANG (BY FLIGHT OR VIA SAMDRUP JONGKHAR)

Depending on your route, you’ll either fly into Yonphula (via Paro) or enter by road from Samdrup Jongkhar. Upon arrival in Trashigang, rest and prepare for your eastern adventure.

DAY 2: TRASHIGANG – GOMPHU KORA & RANGJUNG MONASTERY

Start the day with a visit to Gomphu Kora, an ancient temple carved into a rock face. Later, explore Rangjung Monastery and nearby villages for insights into the region’s spiritual practices.

DAY 3: TRASHIGANG TO TRASHIYANGTSE – TRADITIONAL ARTS

Drive to Trashiyangtse, known for its traditional arts and craftsmanship. Visit the Chorten Kora stupa and the Institute for Zorig Chusum. Explore the quiet, rural town life

DAY 4: TRASHIYANGTSE TO MONGAR – PICTURESQUE DRIVE

Depart for Mongar, one of Bhutan’s most scenic eastern towns. The drive passes through dense forests and high passes with photo stops. Visit Mongar Dzong and stroll through the town.

DAY 5: MONGAR TO LHUNTSE – RARE TEXTILE REGION

A full-day excursion to Lhuntse, considered the ancestral home of Bhutan’s royal family. Famous for intricate Kushuthara (women’s textiles), this region is ideal for cultural immersion.

DAY 6: MONGAR TO PARO (FLIGHT OR RETURN BY ROAD)

Return to Paro via domestic flight or overland journey. Upon arrival, unwind or take an optional walk around Paro town and local markets.

DAY 7: DEPARTURE FROM PARO

Check out after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
