04 NIGHTS & 5 DAYS

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN SANDAKAN – SEPILOK ORANGUTAN SANCTUARY

Upon arrival at Sandakan Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, set out for an incredible visit to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, where you can observe rescued orangutans being rehabilitated before returning to the wild. Next, visit the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, home to the world's smallest bear species. Spend the rest of the day exploring the Rainforest Discovery Centre, where you can walk along the canopy bridge and enjoy panoramic views of the jungle. Return to your lodge for a relaxing evening surrounded by nature.

DAY 2: KINABATANGAN RIVER SAFARI – WILDLIFE SPOTTING

After breakfast, depart for the Kinabatangan River, one of the most biodiverse regions in Malaysia. Check into your riverside lodge and embark on a boat safari, where you may spot proboscis monkeys, pygmy elephants, crocodiles, and exotic bird species along the riverbanks. Enjoy a night safari in the evening, where you can witness nocturnal creatures in their natural habitat. End the night with a delicious dinner at your lodge.

DAY 3: GOMANTONG CAVES & JUNGLE TREK

Start the day with a visit to the Gomantong Caves, a fascinating limestone cave system famous for its swiftlet nests and massive bat populations. Later, embark on a guided jungle trek through the dense rainforest, where you will learn about Borneo’s unique flora and fauna. Return to your lodge for an afternoon of relaxation or optional activities like fishing or village visits. Enjoy a peaceful evening by the river.

DAY 4: TABIN WILDLIFE RESERVE – HOT SPRINGS & MUD VOLCANO

After breakfast, journey to Tabin Wildlife Reserve, a haven for rare and endangered species. Explore the mud volcano, which attracts a variety of wildlife, and take a refreshing dip in the natural hot springs. Trek through the lush forests to a scenic waterfall, where you can enjoy a relaxing swim. Spend your final night in the jungle, listening to the sounds of nature.

DAY 5: DEPARTURE – FAREWELL TO BORNEO

Enjoy your last morning in the rainforest before transferring to Sandakan Airport for your departure. Leave with unforgettable memories of Borneo’s wildlife, lush landscapes, and thrilling adventures.
